Last time we were out here, it was bitter cold, and we were among just a few brave visitors. This time around, the park was busy (not crowded) and lush. We skipped the “painted trees” (an art exhibit in the forest) and opted for a ~1.5-2 mile loop. Oliver hiked much of it himself.
