Recent trips to Prince George’s County

This month, Oliver and I visited a couple of fun parks in Prince George’s County. We finally made it down to Watkins Regional Park in Kettering, which features a remarkable Wizard of Oz playground.

We also visited the Indian Creek playground in Berwyn Heights, which is small but cleverly designed and adjacent to a branch of the Anacostia River. Frankly, Oliver and I had more fun strolling along the river and taking in the nascent cherry blossoms than we did exploring the playground. We also found a little local playground, Pop’s Park, which is centrally located in a pleasant and seemingly diverse neighborhood.
