Long Gate Playground

Here are a few photos from our second trip to Long Gate Playground, a spacious playground with a giant metal structure and a bunch of slides just off MD 100 in Ellicott City. The main apparatus is a bit dated but has many cool twists and turns and multiple slides; and there’s a colorful rock wall feature.

Oliver at Long Gate Playground

It was snowy and slippery today, and very cold. When we arrived, we were the only people on the playground—which was just fine with Oliver and me. It was fun to have the run of the place.
